For locksmiths
Half your inbound is "I'm locked out, get here now." The other half is rekeys, lock installs, and smart-lock setups that can wait for an appointment. Both need ID verification and address confirmation before you roll a truck. Reeve runs that qualification — and the emergency-surcharge math — so you're not doing it from the cab.
What gets handled
- Emergency lockout intake. Reeve answers, confirms the address, the lock type, and the ID-verification requirements your jurisdiction expects. Books the call with the surcharge if it's after-hours; flags for your direct attention if anything looks off.
- ID and ownership verification. For residential lockouts, proof of residence is required. For automotive lockouts, proof of vehicle ownership is required. Reeve runs the script, captures what's needed, and refuses to dispatch without it.
- Scheduled work. Rekeys, lock installs, smart- lock setups, safe openings — standard jobs at the prices you've set. Books on the calendar with the right time window.
- Emergency surcharge math. After-hours, weekend, holiday — Reeve applies your surcharge rules automatically and quotes the right price the first time, so you're not arguing about the bill on-site.
- Invoicing on-site. Invoice ships from your phone before you leave the property. Card on file for emergency calls if you take it. Payment lands in your Stripe account.
Why this fits locksmith work specifically
Locksmithing is high-trust, license-gated, and fraud-adjacent — you can't dispatch to "I'm locked out" without verification, or you become an accessory to a break-in. The qualification conversation is the safety layer; getting it right consistently is the difference between a clean operation and a liability. Reeve runs the qualification script the same way every time.
Reeve doesn't replace the locksmith. It replaces the triage call you take from the cab, the surcharge-math-in-your-head, and the invoice you keep meaning to send.
What it costs
Starting at $50/month per business, based on usage. Most operators in the closed beta land between $50 and $100. See pricing for the honest details on the first thirty days.
How it earns trust
The first thirty days you review every action Reeve drafts — every dispatch, every quote, every refusal. After thirty days, routine bookings and standard rekeys ship on their own; after-hours emergencies and anything that fails verification stay with you. The trust is earned per action class, not declared.

Reeve is in private beta with a small number of design partners. Locksmiths are one of the verticals we're prioritizing for the first cohort. Register your interest or write to hello@reeve.tools.
