For deck builders and repair
New builds need permits, second-story attached decks need permits with extra scrutiny, repairs and re-staining are weather-sensitive, and composite-vs-wood decisions deserve a real consult. Reeve runs the consult-booking workflow and flags every permit-required job for your direct attention.
What gets handled
- Consult booking. Reeve answers, asks the right questions (work type, deck size, attached vs. freestanding, materials, address), and books the on-site consult.
- Permit-required job flagging. New attached builds, second-story decks, anything over a permit-trigger threshold gets flagged for your direct involvement. Reeve coordinates the permit-pull workflow but never auto-quotes a job that needs city sign-off.
- Repair scheduling. Board replacements, railing repairs, hardware swaps — standard repairs at the prices you've set, after photo or short description if appropriate.
- Weather-window scheduling. Stain and seal work needs the dry-window forecast; Reeve doesn't book finishing work into a wet weekend.
- Invoicing. Invoice ships after the job completes (or per phase for multi-week builds). Past-due follow-ups go out automatically. Payment lands in your Stripe account.
Why this fits deck building specifically
Deck work is permit-sensitive, weather-dependent, and project-driven. The right answer to "skip the permit hassle" is always "no" — Reeve runs that boundary every time. The right answer to "stain it this Saturday in the rain" is always "let's reschedule." The right answer to "phone-quote my second-story new build" is always "after I look on-site."
Reeve doesn't replace the builder. It replaces the consult- scheduling overhead, the permit-coordination conversation, and the weather-watch you'd otherwise do every booking.
What it costs
Starting at $50/month per business, based on usage. Most operators in the closed beta land between $50 and $100. See pricing for the honest details on the first thirty days.
How it earns trust
The first thirty days you review every action Reeve drafts — every consult booking, every permit flag, every weather- window check. After thirty days, routine consult scheduling and standard repair quotes ship on their own; new builds and permit work stay with you. The trust is earned per action class, not declared.

Reeve is in private beta. Deck building and repair is one of the verticals we're onboarding for the first cohort. Register your interest or write to hello@reeve.tools.
